On November 4, the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics took part in the first DigiGirlz vocational guidance IT conference in Belarus for girls aged 11-17. This IT conference was held under the patronage of Microsoft Belarus, the Education Center and MRobot. The purpose of the conference was aimed at appropriate master classes and advice on admission and training girls IT-specialties. Within the framework of the conference, the participants were presented the ROBOLAB laboratory (APPLE) / itgirls.by.
On December 15, an excursion to the office of the LightPoint Global IT company, which is an employer, was organized as part of the TETRO office for second-year students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics (official website of the company: lightpointglobal.com).
At the very beginning of the meeting, students were introduced to the history of the company; with its main customers and the scope of clients; with a stack of applied technologies and tools for the development, testing and support of software products.
