A compact development platform based on the ATmega328P microcontroller and the MICROCHIP MCP2515-I/SO CAN controller, well-suited for automotive-related development and for communication with other systems operating on the CAN bus.

Includes the Arduino bootloader and can be programmed via the Arduino IDE environment.

For programming through the Arduino IDE, a USB-Serial Arduino converter is required.

R1 is a footprint for the terminator resistor (the resistor is not soldered onto the board, but can be added if required).

A USB-to-serial converter is required for programming via the Arduino IDE; see the picture below.
